I am an innovative Advanced Technology/Business Development/Marketing/Public Relations Consultant and Senior Development Executive with a 40+ year career. By exceeding goals using advanced Marketing Communications strategies, data analytics, competitive intelligence and award-winning creativity, I have served in senior management positions for technology development consulting, public relations, growth hacking, marketing, advertising, publishing, fund-raising, international sales development, executive search/recruitment, television industry leadership… with a focus on Marketing Communications throughout all facets of corporate, academic, governmental and non-profit organizations. Currently, I am also an Advisor to ALLEGIANCE (AllegianceUS.com), a global network of experienced Reputation/Risk Management and Business Development Advisors…. while also serving as the President, CVO and Founder of “THE VUETURE,” an advanced, future-focused communications, publishing and marketing consulting firm.

Prior to my current role, I served as Principal Consultant and Director of Enterprise and Strategic Accounts Development for DSoft Technology, Engineering & Analysis, Inc. in a dual role while operating my consulting firm for a major technology client.  Prior to then, I was Chief of Marketing and Technology Transfer for the ISSAC Corporation, an Advanced Data Analytics and Systems Engineering consulting firm building on its success for the U.S. Department of Defense in Missile Defense Systems Data Analytics and Systems of Systems Engineering. My future-focused career includes previously serving as Director of Operations for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Emerging Analytics Center ™ (EAC).  This data analytics/data visualization center features “first of their kind in the world” data visualization systems, including the first reconfigurable virtual CAVE™ immersion technology using a massive DLP HD screen array (EmergiFLEX™).  See http://ualr.edu/emerginganalytics/  I also currently serve on the Executive Committee of The Higher Education Campus Alliance for Advanced Visualization (THE CAAV™).

Prior to my UALR EAC executive role, I provided  innovative technology development as Assistant Dean through October 15, 2012 for the nationally-ranked engineering and computer science program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS EAS), while also incorporating program support for activities linked to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s College of Engineering and Information Technology (UALR EIT).  Also served as a consultant on a special projects for selected clients — including Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods (CJRW) Agency, UCCS and UALR from Nov. 2010 to Sept. 2011.

Formerly the Director of Development / Development Services for the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, having completed a senior management role as an academic Assistant Dean and economic developer for Arkansas through the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s College of Engineering and Information Technology (EIT).

Prior to forming “THE VUETURE” development consulting firm in late 2010 for UCCS and UALR client initiatives (and then becoming UCCS EAS Project Director), served as Director of Development/Development Services in support of the U.S. Air Force Academy for the Association of Graduates/USAFA Endowment for two years — November 2008 – November 2010.

Prior to November 2008, completed over six years as a University of Arkansas Foundation and UALR Development Officer — helping secure the largest philanthropic endowment and major gift in UALR’s history ($6 million) while also serving as Assistant Dean for UALR’s engineering college (EIT) to coordinate all the college’s fund-raising activities, external affairs, sponsored corporate research, capital grant funding proposals —  all leading up to the recent dedication of UALR’s new $35+ million EIT engineering.

Prior to joining UALR, served nine years as Executive Vice President of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce with the broad roles of Program Director for all of the Chamber’s volunteer-based activities and Senior Project Manager to create, through innovative fund-raising and donor recognition, the Chamber’s $10 million high-tech facility.

Directed the AOG’s full-service development operation encompassing major gifts, annual giving, class gifts, planned giving, matching gifts, construction/memorial project management, and a pro-active stewardship program — exceeding the AOG’s aggressive multi-million fundraising goal during the national economic downturn; streamlined the AOG Development Department operations with refocused development staff supervision; transitioning organization to incorporate the USAFA Endowment beginning in January, 2010.

Assistant Dean / External Affairs


Senior Development Officer recruited to serve as Project Manager for the fundraising and project management of a new engineering building  for UALR and assigned to the University’s Engineering and Information Technology(EIT) college as Assistant Dean to oversee all external affairs and coordinate volunteer support for EIT’s sponsored research  and scholarship funds in the academic fields of Applied Science, Computer Science, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Information Science, IT, and Systems Engineering


Successfully orchestrated complex, multi-tiered fundraising campaign and project details for $35+ million EIT engineering and information science building on the UALR campus. Role included the full scope of project management — fund-raising/ public relations aspects and direct coordination of the project’s architect and general contractor throughout the scientifically-detailed “design/build” process meshed with strategic funding goals linked to donor recognition elements

Built impressive volunteer support for the college at the national, state, and local level through the development of eight different UALR EIT Advisory Councils — comprised  of over 240 corporate  and governmental representatives.  These eight councils adopted specific scholarship and capital fund-raising goals with EIT’s Construction Management Council pledging over a half a million dollars in support for the building project alone

Moved the college forward to garner over $33.5 million to date in external research funding through innovative governmental and corporate research alliances (while also serving as Associate Director of the UALR/Acxiom Laboratory for Applied Research, linking advanced data mining research by the Acxiom Corporation to UALR’s EIT – home of the world’s first Masters degree and Ph.D. in Information Quality in partnership with MIT — with major external donor funding support secured from Acxiom Corporation)

Served simultaneously (at the request of the business community) in the senior management role of Chief Information Officer for the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce during the 10-month pre-opening and post-opening phases of the $200+ million Clinton Presidential Library complex in Little Rock – while also performing  Assistant Dean duties for UALR (and leveraging business community relationships to increase UALR’s major donor roster with funding support for EIT building project)

Senior level management position coordinating staff support for over 30 different Chamber committees, subcommittees and partnership organizations — including the Chamber’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, KBC (Knowledge Based Companies of Arkansas), Fifty For The Future, and the Chamber’s New Technology & Communications Committee.


Directed an initial, volunteer-based $6+ million, eight-year capital campaign (timed with the Clinton Presidency) to rejuvenate the Little Rock region’s economic development marketing efforts — followed by the creative management of a second $10+ million volunteer fund drive and building project management role climaxing in the opening of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce building (which is the only chamber in the nation creatively conceived in a partnership approach, meshing a chamber of commerce’s corporate economic development mission with a major telecommunications firm — AT&T – to provide a premier business organization with a high-tech building featuring the latest in video telecommunications, computer technology, and maximized Internet/web based applications for enhanced economic development).

Corporation’s top communications, sales, and marketing executive charged with expanding foreign and domestic sales for innovative, micro-computer-based electronics device.


Proven performance included sales records reached in 35 countries worldwide and honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration as 1992’s “Exporter of the Year.”  Relatively short-tenured position (approximately 12 months) ended with recruitment by senior business community to return to the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce based on Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton’s election to be President of the United States.

Television Station Manager


Senior supervisory role for Arkansas’ first independent television station, responsible for quickly building the station’s revenues and ratings


Signed the station “on the air” and rapidly built viewership ratings and advertising sales revenue through innovation in co-promotion – leading to a flagship status with the origination of the FOX Television Network and, subsequently, the multi-million dollar sale of the station to the Clear Channel Television station group  / SPECIAL NOTE: While Station Manager, I was recruited to serve on the FOX Network’s original “A-Team” as one of the top ten television marketing professionals from throughout the nation.

Also during my television career, I took a10-month sabbatical from the television station in 1989 to serve as Director of Communications and Member Services for the Greater Little Rock Chamber of Commerce to create Little Rock’s first fully-funded and fully-executed marketing/communications campaign.  The project included a total revamping of the Chamber’s economic development and membership marketing program — and the addition of computer technology to aid in cost-efficiency and performance, resulting in record membership sales and external revenue.
